Axial / radial bearings with integrated measuring system

Axial / radial bearings with integrated measuring system consist of:

• an axial-radial bearing YRTM with material measure and
• a MEKO / U measuring electronics. The measuring electronics includes two measuring heads, a set of tuning inserts and an electronic evaluation unit.

Bearings of the YRTM series are mechanically equivalent to the YRT thrust bearings, but are additionally equipped with a magnetic measuring scale. The measuring system detects angles in the range of a few angular seconds without contact and magnetoresistive.

Advantages of the angle measuring system

The measuring system,

• works without contact and is therefore wear-free
• measures tilt and position independent
• has an electronics that adjusts itself independently
• centers itself
• is insensitive to lubricants
• is easy to mount, the measuring heads are easily adjustable,
• the alignment of bearings and separate measuring system is eliminated
• requires no additional attachments
  • Measuring scale and measuring heads are integrated in the bearings or adjacent construction
  • The space saved can be used for the processing space of the machine
• prepares no difficulties with supply lines. The cables can be routed directly through the large bearing bore within the adjacent construction
• Saves components, overall space and costs through the compact, component-reduced, integrated design.
