Axial needle roller bearings are made of plastic or metal-axial cages with integrated needle rollers, have a very low axial height. They absorb high axial forces in one direction. Radial loads must be recorded separately. Axial needle roller covers assume that hardened and ground contact surfaces can be used as a raceway.

Axial bearing washers are punched, through hardened, polished and usable as a shaft or housing disc. These discs are suitable if the adjacent machine part is not hardened, but sufficiently rigid and dimensionally accurate.

Axial needle roller bearings

Axial needle roller bearings are assemblies consisting of axial needle roller bearings and thrust washers with centering collar. They can be combined with needle sleeves, needle bushes and needle roller bearings. The contact surface for the needle ring must be hardened and ground.
