inner rings

Description

Inner rings are made of hardened bearing steel and have machined or ground raceways. They are used when:

  • in needle rims, needle sleeves, needle bushes, needle bearings, the shaft can not be used as a career
  • Needle roller bearings with wider inner rings must be combined to allow greater axial displacements of the shaft relative to the housing
  • optimal running surfaces for the sealing lips are necessary.
Finely machined inner rings

In the case of the inner rings IR, the raceway is finished. Chamfers on the front sides allow easy insertion into the bearings and prevent the sealing lips of the bearings from being damaged. The inner rings are available with and without lubrication hole.

Ground inner rings

The raceway is ground on the inner rings LR. The faces are turned, the edges broken. These rings have more tolerances than the rings IR. They are therefore suitable for applications that allow greater tolerances in the width and less high demands in axial travel.
